How We Help

+ NBI Leadership
+ NBI Followership
+ NBI Personal Negativity
+ NBI Skills

A work team comprised of multiple nationalities wants to increase their team performance and operational efficiency.

The IDI helps each person to understand their approach to intercultural experiences; this applies to both cross-nationality as well as workplace culture interactions. Knowing and understanding their own position within the Intercultural Development Continuum (IDC)©, the team members can better identify and navigate difficulties they encounter with others.

Adding the NBI Leadership, NBI Followership and NBI Skills assessments assists the team’s manager with improving internal communication, instruction delivery and overall team cohesiveness.

To further enhance employee and workplace satisfaction, the NBI Personal Negativity assessments will direct everyone’s efforts to manage tasks and scenarios that could potentially play into each person’s negativity activators.

As a whole, a combination of instruments as applied in such an exciting manner can only lead to change and increased performance.

+ NBI Personal Negativity

A family who has decided to emigrate will face many challenges along the way. By completing the IDI, they are better aware of how they experience intercultural interactions and having this knowledge prepares their mindsets before arriving in their new country of residence where they will certainly encounter a new cultural environment.

Combining the IDI and NBI Personal Negativity alerts the family to the areas that are most likely to cause them frustration and anxiety. Having this knowledge in hand, the family is better equipped to assist one another through the frustrations and also allows the individual family members to take on tasks they are most comfortable with.

Two instructors are tasked to teach a cohort of two classes in a one-month course. After completing the NBI General profiles, the combined profile indicates that between the two individuals, all four quadrants are covered to a high degree; however, one instructor demonstrates clear preferences in two of the quadrants while the other instructor’s profile indicates a high preference for the other two.

With this knowledge, the instructors are able to divide the workload into areas that suit their preferred thinking styles and this will result in the students receiving instructions not only from two instructors with varied instructional methods, but from instructors with a natural drive, passion and interest for the content they need to deliver.
